December 16, 1925\u00a0\u2013 February 3, 2021<\/p>\n
Florence Bratton, 95, entered into eternal rest February 3rd, 2021. She was born in Dodge City, Kansas on December 16, 1925 to John and Glads Ravenkamp.<\/p>\n
During her youth she attended Kansas schools at Montezuma, Fowler, Wilroads Garden, Kingman, Wichita and graduated from Kingsdown High School. She worked in Civil Service at Army Air Forces bases before marrying her husband, Neil for 59 years. They lived in Houston after he got out of the Air Force. He worked as a mechanic at Greyhound Bus until his death in 2004.<\/p>\n
She was active in schools, Red Cross as a volunteer, Cub Scouts, Little League baseball, and Reid Memorial, Airline, and Fair Haven Methodists churches. She worked as a typesetter and layout artist for 36 years at two printing companies. She loved God and her family.<\/p>\n
She leaves behind two sons: Terry (wife Melanie) and Donnie (wife Pat), six grandchildren Tracy, April, Heather (husband Aaron), Eric (wife Emily), Tyler (wife Jordan), Josh (wife Jennifer), and 12 great grandchildren.<\/p>\n
Visitation is February 8th from 1:30-2:30pm followed by service and private interment at Brookside Funeral Home in Houston, TX.<\/p>\n
